Miss Sheryl’s Pre-K Newsletter for May 20
Dear Pre-K Families,
I say it every week and this week is no exception! I LOVE Zooming with your children! Am I having more fun than the children? I hope not! I know this has not been an easy way for your children in so many ways, but they have been exceptional on Zoom! It has truly been the highlight of my week getting to see all of you! Parents thank you so much for helping them get on Zoom and maintaining focus as much as possible!
It has also been great seeing our “Zoom Stars”. This week we learned that Mark loves ice hockey. He is collecting all of the various parts and players for his game. We also learned that Mark has a passion for junk food!!! Fabulous job Mark!!! Olivia did an incredible job when it was her turn to be “Zoom Star” on Wednesday. We learned all about her favorite stuffed animal that Andrew got her for her birthday-it’s a rainbow unicorn with butterfly wings!!! She also showed us all her beautiful pictures of flowers. Olivia LOVES creating flowers. Olivia also has a wonderful big brother! She misses playing with her friends at Red Robin-me too, Olivia!
****I hope you all received the e-mail “Save the Date” for Red Robin’s Moving Up/Graduation Car Parade”. Hopefully you saw the second e-mail with all the info. It is next Thursday, May 28th at 11:00am in the Cantiague Elementary School in Jericho. I am going to talk more about it in my weekly newsletter that I will send out today, as always. We are excited to see everyone!!! That’s the most important thing! Of course in the safest way possible.
Please remember I am switching Zoom to Wednesday and Friday next week-as Monday is Memorial Day!

June 3rd will be our last Zoom class. Your children are very familiar with “Miss Sheryl’s Ultimate Red Robin Idol”. So on June 3rd they can perform!!! They can sing a favorite song or tell some jokes. I’m attaching an “ABC Joke Sheet” if your child would like to tell jokes – here’s some help. Most of the time they like to sing! Also talk to them about what their favorite thing to do in school was this year.
****Again, May 28th at 11:00 am Come to Red Robin’s Moving Up/Graduation 1st Annual Car Parade!!! At Cantiague Elementary School in Jericho!. Dress your cars to impress!!! (Raindate 5/29 –same time same place) It’s the place to be!!!
