Miss Sheryl’s & Miss Jen’s 9/24/2021 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

Dear Families,

Sheryl Katz, Red Robin Country Day School &

Miss Sheryl

Well my dream came true – I was finally back in the classroom fulltime – and then POOF!!!  My children are gone!  Please tell your children that Miss Jen, the classroom, the playgrounds and Miss Sheryl are all waiting and ready for their speedy return!  It is very quiet around here without them.  Hopefully, we will never have this situation again and we can get going and enjoy school!

On Monday I will do a review of the letter “Aa” with the children.  If you still have “Aa” pictures for our “Aa is for apple” board please send them in and your child will have a chance to show them and we will put them up on the board.  We will do some handwriting, as well as an “Aa” project.  We really never got to talk about our new season, so we will be reading many books about Fall.  (Also known as another “Aa” word for us

Autumn.)

Attached to this letter is homework for the letter “Bb”.  Please send in pictures that start with “B”.  Please have your child cut and glue them onto a piece of paper and allow them to write their name on it.  Once again homework is optional.

We will be talking a lot about “APPLES” next week.  We may even have a “special visitor” come in and explain his love of apples.  He might even share some of the apple seeds that he collected and planted all over the country many years ago.

*** (He is vaccinated and a.k.a. Miss Sheryl)

Baking starts with “Bb”.  Children and teachers love to bake!  Did someone say…BROWNIES!!!  Delicious!  But not as delicious as your children!!!

So stay tuned…it’s going to be a terrific year!

Have a fabulous Fall weekend with your family!

xoxo

Miss Sheryl and Miss Jen

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
