Miss Lori’s Nursery School Newsletter for June 3
Dear Nursery Families,
The time has come for me to write my final newsletter. This has been quite a year! Our class started off with some children returning from camp or school, and some new children entering Red Robin. During the course of the year, we all became one large family. Having our Zoom meetings twice per week with almost all of the children attending since March has shown all of us just what a family of 3’s we are!!! Seeing your children speak to each other, clap for each other and laugh with each other on Zoom has been amazing. It has been quite the challenge for me to think of ways to keep your children happy and engaged for the past few months virtually but I am SO HAPPY that it all worked out better than I expected. Each of your children were so welcoming and accepting with this new way of having “school”, and they are all truly to be commended. Seeing most of you during our moving up car parade was such a treat, and so special. This is a whole new world for us as adults, let alone how tough this has been on young children. I would love to Zoom with our class throughout the summer, just to touch base, say hello and see what everyone is up to. Definitely be on the lookout for an e-mail invitation from me sometime during the later part of June. I am always free to chat via text, cell, and e-mail or face time all summer. Please don’t hesitate! I LOVE each and every one of your children with all my heart. I will truly miss them so much. I look forward to seeing all of them back in September!!! I am counting down the days!!! Until our next Zoom, please be well, be happy, and please keep in touch.
I am the luckiest teacher to have shared this year with your children as well as with you, their parents. Every single one of you has been incredibly helpful and supportive. I thank you all.
With love,
Miss Lori
