Miss Lori’s Nursery School Newsletter for April 29
Dear Nursery Families,
I hope this newsletter finds everyone staying safe and still healthy! It is such a treat to see the children each time we “Zoom”. I think I have ALMOST perfected it- it’s only taken me a month to figure it out!!! Thank goodness for Mr. and Mrs. Patel for my tutorials!!! It is a great way for all of us to stay connected. Please keep sending me pictures of your children- I really enjoy seeing them!!! I always forward the pictures to Miss Sam and Miss Kristine as well.
As I write this, it is a beautiful day outside, FINALLY. I will soon be out the door with all three of the dogs (I think I have inherited my daughter’s puppy!!!) to take them for a mile and a half walk. The more they walk, the better the puppy sleeps-there is a method to my madness!!! Then we will hop on bicycles for a nice ride around my community, only to come inside and say “Okay, now what!?!?” I finally gave in and purchased an electric barbeque because I live in a community and only electric grills are allowed on the balcony. Today we are actually barbequing which makes me feel slightly normal and anxious for everything to go back to the way things used to be!!! I stay on top of the news and hope against hope we can go back to school this year. I just can’t wait for that day!!! I miss your children dearly, and I feel like I haven’t seen them forever. Thank goodness for Zoom!!!
If any of your children want to “Facetime” with me, I’m all for it! Just send me a text and we can work it out!!! I have sent everyone a “Zoom” invitation for Thursday at 11:00. Hope to see your children there!!! Stay well, sending hugs!!!
Warmly,
Miss Lori
