Miss Lori’s Nursery School Newsletter for April 15
Dear Nursery Families,
I hope this newsletter finds all of my families healthy and safe! I am enjoying the pictures I have been receiving. Seeing your children puts a huge smile on my face! I proudly show off these pictures to my family! I had a face time call with Sahana on Monday, which was really fun! I would love to face time with your children- it’s fun to see them in their environment!!! I hope everyone had a good holiday if you celebrate Passover or Easter. I made a Passover dinner as best as I could for my family. Usually I have a big crowd but I consider myself lucky to have the health of my family, so the big crowd can wait until next year! We did face time with my younger daughter who lives in Florida. I made the recipe I sent to everyone for the chocolate matzoh. I’m hoping some of my children made something dipped in chocolate as well… I am spending time outside as much as possible walking my dogs, (now when they see the leash they hide! I guess walking for a few miles is no longer fun for them!!!), riding bicycles, and just going for long walks. On the days I can’t get out, I have been watching many series on Netflix and Amazon as well as reading lots of books! (Luckily I went to the library the day before all libraries closed down!) I watch the news throughout the day as well… It seems the social distancing is working … hopefully we will be able to return to our “home away from home” at Red Robin as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. I know I can’t wait for that day!!! Thank you to everyone for being SO supportive with Zoom. Virtually teaching young children has its challenges but all in all it is wonderful for all of us to see each other each week. I will end this newsletter with an open invitation for you to send me pictures, e-mails and texts to say hello and keep me informed as to how and what everyone is up to. For example, I loved seeing Sahana’s new birds when we face timed!!! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Warmly, Miss Lori
