Miss Lori’s Newsletter for 11-12-20
Dear Families,
This week we spoke all about the letter “Gg”. Some children made goat puppets and some children made gorillas for their Alphabet Books.
We ate graham crackers for snack too! Each day we go over all of the “Gg” words and pictures that your children bring in.
During lesson time we have been speaking about the outcome of the election, Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving!!! Ask your children about the Native Americans and the Pilgrims! We have spoken about things we are thankful for. Next week I will send home a list of what each child told us! We are planning on having a Thanksgiving Feast at Red Robin, on Wednesday, November 25th. Please see the attached form of the foods we would like to serve on that day. Please sign – up and send back the form so that we can make sure we do not have duplicates. Thank you so much in advance for making our feast both memorable and delicious. Reminder-Unfortunately, we cannot have any homemade or home baked items at our feast. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to the current health advisories we cannot have anything but store bought items. (Peanut and tree nut safe as well and not made in a factory that processes with nuts.)
I have been very busy working with each one of your children in order to assess them for our conferences next week. Please sign-up if you haven’t done so already. I look forward to speaking with each of you!
Our class has enjoyed the playgrounds this week during the beautiful spring like weather! We have been observing the beautiful colors on the leaves on the trees as well. Many of your children have been jumping and playing in the leaves! They find this very exciting and fun to do!
Next week we will move on to the letter “Hh”. Please continue to send in pictures for our letter board.
Have a happy and healthy weekend! Enjoy your children!
Warmly,
Miss Lori and Miss Kristine
