Miss Lori & Miss Kristine’s Ma7 19, 2023 Red Robin Pre-K Newsletter

Long Island Nursery Pre-K Teacher Lori

Dear Pre-K Families,

We hope all of our amazing Mom’s had a fantastic Mother’s Day!  Each of the boys and girls took turns telling us where their Mom put the placemat that they made. Your children were so proud when they shared comments like “My Mom put it in her office for her tea”, or “My Mom is taking it to work to use when she eats lunch”!
Your child’s Pictionary Book is officially completed! This book will be going home after our end of the year show next week. It is a terrific keepsake, as it shows the progression of your child’s fine motor skills throughout the school year. The book is also a useful tool over the summer to use for a review of the alphabet.
Our class has been enjoying the beautiful weather. We planted beautiful flowers with Miss Sheryl this week!  We each had a turn to dig a hole in the dirt inside of a planter and placed pretty flowers inside.  We watered the planter and we can’t wait to watch the flowers grow!
Our “End of the Year Show” is on Wednesday, May 24. Fingers crossed we have cooperating weather!  Please be punctual and arrive between 10:00 and 10:15 the latest as our show begins promptly at 10:20 AM. You are welcome to take your child home with you or out to celebrate this milestone after the show. For any child staying in school, please make sure to send a lunch.  Also, I have a request for the girls. In order for the graduation caps to stay on their heads I am asking that their hair be worn either down or in a very low ponytail or braid. (Starting at the base of their neck). This would be most helpful, and I thank you so much in advance!
Looking forward to seeing all of you next Wednesday at our show! Be prepared for a very special morning! Your children have been practicing every single day and they are terrific!!!
  Enjoy your weekend!
  Warmly,
  Miss Lori and Miss Kristine

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
