Miss Debbie’s Toddler Newsletter for April 1

Toddler Times

Dear Toddler Families,

Hope this newsletter finds everyone well and safe.

I cannot tell you how much fun it was to see everyone on Monday!!!  I think your children have actually grown!  It was our first experience with your children and “ZOOM” and I think it went pretty well.  I think each time we see each other it will get better and better!

I’m going to attach some “letter” related coloring pages if your children feel like coloring.  They also love to water color! (The drug store usually sells them-when you’re picking up your “essentials”.)

Another fun activity that combines learning and movement is the following: Cut out shapes in different colors and multiples.  (You can then do this with numbers and letters.)  Place them all over the floor. (Large space would be great.)  Turn on the music, when the music stops shout out “Put your hand on a blue rectangle!”  Everyone races to find that shape and color.  Music goes back on and when it stops shout out “Put your nose on a yellow circle!”  You can change this up-get creative and wacky while your child learns!

If you are reading the other teachers’ newsletters, which we invite you to do, Miss Lori found some other fun websites to try.  Check it out!

Can’t wait to have our “Zoom” class today!!!

Stay safe and healthy!

Miss you all!

Warmly,

Miss Debbie

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
