Miss Debbie’s 1/28/21 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter
Dear Families,
We can’t believe how fast the months are going! That must mean we’re having fun! I’m sure if you asked your children –they would agree!
Our week was busy as usual but before we can talk about it we have an announcement! We have a new student in our class! Your children were so welcoming to him. It was really nice to watch them bringing classroom toys over to him to play with. His name is Om. It is such a coincidence that we are working on the letter “Oo” this week!!! We started off by coloring our large classroom “Oo” with orange crayons. Then we also painted paper plates whatever color we wanted and turned them into “OWLS!” They are awesome! We are quite creative with our hands, as you know. We turned them blue and made an “OCTOPUS” for our Alphabet Books.
We are also preparing for a very busy week coming up!
On Monday we will learn all about Groundhog’s Day. We are hoping that the groundhog doesn’t see his shadow and winter will end quickly! Next week on Thursday, February 4th is our “Annual Pancake and Pajama Day Party!!!” That’s right it is in celebration of the letter “Pp”. You can send your children to school wearing pajamas!!! Miss Sheryl will be making pancakes and serving them for snack!!! She will also read us a very silly bedtime story about a little boy who doesn’t like to go to sleep!
On Friday, February 5th – we have one question…Are you ready for some FOOTBALL??? We will celebrate Super Bowl Sunday on Friday!!! Miss Sheryl will do some fun activities from warm-up exercises to football relay race, “Pin the Football” and make a “TOUCHDOWN!” After we play we’ll have a tailgate party with Salsa and Tostitos! Hope your family team wins on Sunday!!!
Monday begins a new month – FEBRUARY! Our new shape is a “HEART”, our new color is “PINK” and our number will be “6”!
Have an outrageous weekend!!!
Warmly,
Miss Debbie and Miss Sam
