Miss Debbie’s Newsletter for 10-15-20
Dear Families,
It was a short week, but a busy one! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. We were all about the letter “Dd” this week. We used ORANGE dot markers to decorate our classroom “Dd”. We used the color ORANGE because it is the color of the month! We also decorated “Donuts”. They looked good enough to eat, don’t you think? “Dunkin Donuts” watch out!!!
Your children love music!!! We decided to create “dance partners” for them by making their very own “dazzling dinosaurs!” We “Stomped, Stomped Like a Dinosaur”, with our dinosaurs leading the way!!! It was delightful fun!
Once again this week we painted our hand to make it into a “deer” for our Alphabet Book. We love this activity, because we get messy!!!
We are observing the world around our school and seeing the seasonal changes. Feel free to have your children bring in some of the signs of Fall as you walk around your neighborhood. We were so glad that the rain stopped and we were able to get outside and play.
Next week we will start learning all about the letter “Ee”.
We bet you are so excited to see our excellent projects that will be coming home just for you!
Your children are exceptional!!! They walk into school like “big shots”. It is such an unprecedented year and they are so accepting of the changes. Watching them say good bye to you all at the gate is amazing. They never look back! (Sorry.) Guess they know in a short time how much we care about them.
Thank you once again for the privilege of sharing your children.
Have an enthusiastic, exhilarating and entertaining weekend!
Warmly,
Miss Debbie and Miss Sam
