Miss Debbie’s 4/23/2021 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter
Dear Families,
Fun! Fun! Fun! That is rule number one!!! It was a very busy week in our classroom that is for sure! Not just with lessons and projects, busy with friends and using our imaginations and cooperating with each other. While castles and “parking lots” were being created with blocks and cars, things were getting “cooking” in the kitchen! It is truly amazing to see how far your children have come navigating their little community of peers. They are truly moving from “Toddler” to “Nursery”. Not all their lessons are about A, B, C’s and 1, 2, 3’s. Hooray for all their hard work this year!!!
“Butterflies, bumblebees and ladybugs, OH! MY!!!” Bzzzzz, Buzzzzz, Buzzzzz – we were busy little bees. We Talked about Spring all week. We read lots of books about all the changes that come with Spring. Our classroom is buzzing with all of our bumblebees, ladybugs and butterflies that we created! We can’t wait for them to fly home to your house!
We celebrated “Earth Day” by walking around Red Robin looking for any recyclables around the grounds. We then came in and made our own version of the “Earth”. We think you’ll love it!
Next week we will move on to “Xx”. We will also start something new. It is entitled “Classroom Book
Share”. You will get a notice the night before that it is your child’s turn to bring in one of their favorite books. We will read it at Circle Time and return it back to you the same day. Thank you so much for your help with this fun activity!
Have a fabulous weekend!!!
Love,
Miss Debbie and Miss Sam
