Miss Debbie’s 3/5/2021 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

Dear Families,

This week we revved up to learn all about the letter “Rr”.  We started off the week decorating our “ravishing” classroom “Rr” with red crayons and markers.  We made rainbows with colored paper and we used cotton balls to make nice fluffy clouds.  Of course we turned our hands into rainbows and added them to our Alphabet Book!

Have you taken a close look at your children this week?  Would you agree that they definitely are “100 Days Smarter?”  We are so proud of our class.  They have really grown!  We just had to celebrate this special occasion with ice cream sandwiches!!!  It was a blast!  We decided we are all “SMART COOKIES!”

We were so glad that the weather has cooperated a little bit this week and we were able to get outside!

Since it is a new month we have a new color “GREEN”, a new number “7” and our new shape is a “DIAMOND”.  We will spend this month getting very familiar with each one of these.

This week we also celebrated Dr. Suess’ birthday!  Mr. Michael came in to read to us his favorite book by Dr. Seuss, entitled, The Sneetches.  We loved having Mr. Michael visit and read to us!

Next week we will start learning about the letter “Ss”.  Don’t you want a sneak peak at what we will be doing next???  We don’t want to ruin the surprises…so you’ll just have to wait!!!

Have a “ridiculously” fun weekend!!!

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
