Miss Debbie’s 3/11/2021 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

Dear Families,

We are all getting very excited we can feel “Spring is in the air!”  We are so glad the weather cooperated with the timing of our letter of the week “Ss”!  We have spent a lot of time outside this week.  We also had a few children “surf our slide” for the first time ever!  We are so proud of them!!!  We have noticed that your children are getting taller and smarter!  We have also had success with some toilet training!  The “Peepee in the Potty Song” is our new class anthem!  No pressure, whenever your child is ready- we’re ready!

We started off the week decorating our “Super-sized” “Ss” with green snakes!  We then made snails.  We got to pick whatever color paint we wanted our snails to be.  They are quite colorful and sparkly!  Our classroom looks magical with them all around our room.  Once again this week we turned our hands into something else for our Alphabet Books – you guessed it- a snail!  In honor of the letter “Ss” we did some special activities.  We made “SLIME” and also went on a “Scavenger Hunt” all around Red Robin.  So much fun!!!

We can’t wait for next week!  We will go hunting for the
Leprechaun!!!  Be on the lookout at home, too.  We know he is very mischievous and can leave us in quite a mess – so we’ll be looking.  We are hoping for treats not tricks!  We’re sure your children will let you know!!!  Feel free to have your child wear something green next Wednesday, March 17th.

Next week we will start working on the letter “Tt”.  We are also expecting another visitor as we learn all about “Tt”.  Miss Tallulah T. Potts will be visiting with us straight from a royal castle!  She will teach us all about manners at a “Tea Party!”  We will have a special snack with her!!!

Don’t you wish you were in our class?

So stay tuned to see and hear all about our week!!!

Reminder – We Spring forward this weekend!  Good luck to all the moms and dads with the time change.

Hope your weekend is full of sunshine and smiles!

Warmly,

Miss Debbie and Miss Sam

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
