Miss Debbie’s October 14, 2022 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

It was a short week, but a busy one!  We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.  We were all about the letter “Dd” this week.  We used ORANGE dot markers to decorate our classroom “Dd”.  We used the color ORANGE because it is the color of the month!  We also decorated “Donuts”.  They look good enough to eat, don’t you think?  “Dunkin Donuts” watch out!!!!!

Your children love music!!!!  We “Stamped and Stomped Like a Dinosaur”, with our dinosaurs leading the way!!!   It was delightful fun.  We also made sugar cookies and used dinosaur cookie cutters.   They were delicious.

We are observing the world around our school and seeing the seasonal changes.   Feel free to have your children bring in some of the signs of Fall as you walk around your neighborhood.   We all love the Halloween decorations that we see all around Red Robin.   We walk around the grounds before we go out and play on the playground.

Next week we will be learning all about the letter “Ee”.  We bet you are so excited to see our excellent projects that will be coming home just for you!

Just a reminder if you haven’t already done so please send in family pictures next week we are going to create our family tree in the classroom and would like everyone to be able to contribute to the family tree.

Have an enthusiastic, exhilarating and entertaining weekend!!!!!

Warmly,

Miss Debbie

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
