Miss Debbie and Miss Jen’s March 24, 2023 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

This week we started off our week learning about the very cool letter “Vv”.   We decorated our voluminous classroom “Vv” with “violet” violins.  We used violet/purples crayons.   Boy have our coloring skills really improved!

In honor of the letter “Vv” we made a classroom volcano – we added baking soda and vinegar and watched it erupt!  It was SO COOL to watch.   We made Vases with Violet flowers.  We used our fine motor skills to crumble tissue paper to make it look like violet flowers.  We made “vultures and vegetables” for our Alphabet Book.  The children are so excited about our new season-SPRING!  So are the teachers!  We started to talk about Passover and Easter we will start working on our projects for the holidays next week.  Once the weather is a little nicer we will be planting flowers around Red Robin.  We love playing with the dirt so this will be a lot of fun.

We are so happy with the warmer weather we love being outside and exploring the different playgrounds around Red Robin.

Thank you all for sending in our letter homework.  Next week we will be working with the letter “Ww”.   We are going to create some works of wonder for you.

Have a very, very incredible weekend.

Warmly,

Miss Debbie and Miss Jen

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
