Miss Debbie and Miss Jen’s February 3, 2023 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

Dear Families,

This week we started learning all about the letter “Qq”.   We were “QUACKING” all week!  We started off decorating our classroom “Q” with question marks.   We also made quilts using felt.  We got to pick out the colors we wanted to use for them.  So many choices!!!  We also made “Queens” for our Alphabet Book they have such pretty crowns.

We had a special treat on Tuesday we celebrated National Hot Chocolate Day!!!   Miss Sheryl made us hot chocolate and even put marshmallows in it.   It was so yummy.   We also started a new month which means a new color “Pink”, a new number “5” and a new shape, “heart”.   We will be doing a lot of fun things with all of these.

We cannot believe how many letters we have learned since September!   Time is really flying by and each day we are learning many new things.    We also learned about “Groundhog’s Day”.  We made our own groundhogs and we are hoping that he doesn’t see his shadow so we have spring earlier and can spend more time outside!

Next week we will be working on letter “Rr”.  We can’t wait to show you all the “rad” things we are going to learn.   Please send in pictures of things that start with the letter “Rr”.  The children really enjoy sharing what they know.

   Warmly,

Miss Debbie and Miss Jen

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
