Miss Debbie and Miss Jen’s February 10, 2023 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

Dear Families,

This week we revved up to learn all about the letter “Rr”.   We started off the week decorating our “ravishing” classroom “Rr” with “red” crayons.   We made the coolest rocket ship!  We even got to be a part of the project.  We are so excited to show you how we became astronauts.  We have so many fun things coming up.   We spent our week getting ready for the Super Bowl we made really cool footballs.  We used our fine motor skills to tear up brown paper and then we glued it onto our footballs.    On Friday we wore our favorite team jersey and got “READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL”!  We played all kinds of games with Miss Sheryl and then went back inside for our “TAILGATING PARTY” WITH CHIPS AND SALSA!”

We made Robots and Rainbows for our Alphabet Books.   The books are getting filled up we can’t believe how many pages we have done so far.   Next week we aren’t going to be moving on to letter “Ss”.  We are going to learn about Valentine’s and President’s Day.

On Tuesday we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day so please send in a peanut and tree nut free snack that the children can share with their friends.  February 14th is “National Red Day”.  We will all be wearing something RED, in honor of that day.  February is also “National Heart Month”.  So why not wear RED to celebrate LOVE and our HEALTHY HEARTS!!!

Next Friday we will also be celebrating the 100th day of school.   We will be having an “Ice Cream Party” to celebrate that we are 100 days smarter, as well as all that we have accomplished in the 100 days we have been in school.

Have a “ridiculously” fun weekend!!!

Warmly,

Miss Debbie

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
