Miss Debbie and Miss Jen’s January 6, 2023 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a memorable vacation week.  We missed our children and are ready to get back to learning.  We jumped right in and started learning about the letter “Mm”.   We came in Tuesday and colored our classroom “Mm” with magic markers. It is so colorful.  We also painted paper plates and turned them into Mickey Mouse Memo pads.   They are so cute we hope you find good use for them.  We also used pictures of your children for our Alphabet Book.   So they can learn that the picture is “me”.   We also played with magnets.   The children loved learning about what is magnetic and what isn’t.  It was like magic to them.

This week when we didn’t have rain we got really lucky with the weather.  I have to say our class loves being outside.   We try our best every day to make it outside even if it is for a few minutes.  Please make sure that your child has proper outdoor clothing so that we can properly dress everyone for outside.

Next week we will move onto the letter “Nn” we can’t wait to show you what’s next.   We will also be learning about the Martin Luther King Jr.  School will be closed on January 16th in honor of the holiday.

We are going to start something new. Please send pictures with the letter of the week this way they can start working at home and reinforcing the letters we are learning.   In the newsletter you receive on Friday you will see what the letter is for the following week.   You can send it any day and when we receive it your child will have a chance to show the class what they did at home.   Thank you for your participation.

Hope you have a marvelous weekend.

Warmly,

Miss Debbie and Miss Jen

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
