Miss Debbie’s 2/11/22 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter

Dear Families,

Boy! Oh boy! There is plenty to do when we are learning all about the letter “Pp!” Along with getting to know more about “Pp” we were getting ready for the upcoming holidays.

This week we made pancakes out of paper plates. Although they look good enough to eat-they are pretend pancakes. We made pigs out of our handprints for our Alphabet Books. Valentine’s Day is on Sunday. So we couldn’t forget to make a very special Valentine’s Day project for our family. It tells you how much your children love you!!! The children have been singing a few “LOVE” songs with Miss Sheryl. Their favorites are “Skinnamarink” and “I Love You A Bushel and a Peck.”

Your children are familiar with the word President from our lessons about the election. We talked and read books about two famous Presidents as well as what presidents do. In honor of President’s Day we made a project using star sponges, just like on our American flag.

We ended our week with a wonderful Valentine’s Party! We had so many yummy snacks! It is always so much fun celebrating with our friends!

Next week is Winter Recess. We will miss everyone when we are off. Our recess is from Monday, February 15^th-Friday, February 19^th. We will see everyone back in school on Monday, February 22^nd. We will introduce the letter “Qq”.
