Miss Anne’s Pre-K Newsletter for April 15

Long Island Pre-K Kindergarten Teacher Anne

Dear Pre-K Families,

This is actually the second letter I have written on Miss Anne’s behalf.  As you know both Miss Anne and her husband Ralph are recuperating from COVID19.  Mr. Michael and I keep in touch with them several days a week, mostly through their daughter, Jessica.  I know that some of you are in touch with Miss Anne and she appreciates all your good wishes.

Thank you for sending her videos and photos of your children.  It warms her heart.  It’s the best medicine!!!

I wanted to thank all of you for your patience last Friday with my first attempt at Zoom.  I don’t know all about you-but I had the best time!!!  I hope you could see and hear me as well as all of the children.  I hope that this morning’s Zoom goes great!  I’m truly excited to do it!  I apologize for Monday’s cancellation, but I didn’t want anyone to miss the class due to power outages.  My daughter’s house lost “Optimum” for several hours.  It was mayhem!  No internet for work, for Face Time, schoolwork or Disney Plus!!!

I will also do a Zoom lesson on this Friday, April 17th to make-up for Monday.  (No pressure on any of you.)

Please have your children bring an item from your house that is their favorite color.  Please set it aside, until we need it.  We will be doing some Sign Language review.

If your children have been doing their homework finding pictures that start with U, V, W, X and Y, they can show them to us on Friday!  If you haven’t had time or the children haven’t wanted to do it, don’t feel obligated.  They can also do it over the weekend and show it to us next Monday.

Everybody just be well and safe!!!

Please check out my “Family Fun Challenge” attached to the “Miss Sheryl Weekly Newsletter!”

On behalf of Miss Anne

She misses and loves you!

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
