Miss Anne’s Pre-K Update

Dear Parents,

I hope this update finds you and your family well!  We are all trying so hard to remain healthy during this Coronavirus Pandemic.  I am starting to know friends who have tested positive for Covid19 and it is becoming more difficult to remain upbeat, but I am trying.   I find myself praying very hard for each and every one of us, and I am especially mindful of the children…..your children, my children, my grandchildren.  Many of them really don’t understand everything that is happening around us.  For them we try each day to find some joy!  Let’s use this time we have together to do things with our children we didn’t have time to do before this pandemic. We anxiously wait for the day when things go back to normal.

On Monday I was filled with JOY when I saw many of your children on ZOOM!  Our first attempt with this technology went well.  Your children listened to me and remembered to raise their hands during Circle Time.  This really helped because I didn’t have to mute each child as we tried to interact.  I was thinking about how much they have grown and matured since September. They really do know how a big

Pre-K student behaves.  If you find they are not listening at home just remind them that Miss Anne said you know how to behave and listen, like a big Pre-K student.  I am sure they will rise to the occasion!

Today at 11:30 AM we will have another Circle Time Meeting.  I plan on doing part of our Circle Time and I would like to read a story if time allows.  We were all so excited to see each other!  I am going to take a photo of my computer screen and I will text it to your cell phones from my phone when we are finished.  I am curious to know if you are seeing what I am seeing.  This will help me figure out the best way to set up this meeting.  I look forward to seeing your children at virtual Circle Time!

I love you all and miss you tremendously!  Stay safe please!

Lovingly,

Miss Anne

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
