Miss Debbie’s 4/8/22 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter
Dear Families,
This week we started off learning about the very cool letter “Vv”. We decorated our voluminous classroom “Vv” with “violet” violins. We used violet/purple crayons. Our coloring skills have really improved.
In honor of the letter “Vv” we made a classroom volcano – we added baking soda and vinegar and watched it erupt! It was SO COOL! We loved the volcanoes so much that we decided to make one to bring home to you! We used tissue paper and construction paper. We used our fine motor skills to crumble tissue paper to make it look like lava. We actually turned our hands into volcanoes, too! We painted our hands orange and made them into lava for our Alphabet Book.
We started working on our projects for the upcoming holidays. We will be learning all about Spring, Passover and Easter. Once the weather is a little nicer we will be planting flowers around Red Robin. We love playing with dirt so this will be a lot of fun.
Next Wednesday April 13, 2022 we will be having our “Spring Party”. Please feel free to send in peanut and tree nut snacks. We will not be moving on to “Ww” until we get back from break. We will continue to work on Spring and our exciting holiday crafts.
Just a reminder we will be closed from Thursday, April 14th and returning Monday, April 25th.
Have a very, very incredible weekend.
Warmly,
Miss Debbie
