Miss Anne’s November Update 2018
Dear Pre-K Families,
Thanksgiving is almost here! Our Pre-K class is so thankful and we are so proud of them!
Our class discussions at circle time have been quite amazing as we share what we are most thankful for! Your children have been very busy preparing for this wonderful holiday. We are collecting non-perishable food to donate to our local food pantry in Westbury for those less fortunate. The last day to send in donations will be Friday, November 16th , 2018. Your donations will really help to make someone’s holiday more special. Thank you in advance!
We are also starting to learn some Holiday songs to sing at the Arbors, an assisted living facility, in December. This event always makes me feel the true spirit of the Hoiidays!
Our Thanksgiving Feast will be on Tuesday November 20th. Each year, in honor of the first Thanksgiving, our class shares a meal together. Please sign up for something to contribute to our feast. I am attaching a list of suggestions of what we will need. Make sure you provide a phone number so I can contact you in case we have many people volunteering to bring the same item. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
The week of Thanksgiving we will NOT be starting a new letter because it is only a 3 day week of school There will be no homework that week.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish our wonderful Pre-K Families abundant blessings at Thanksgiving and always. We are thankful every day for your beautiful children and the joy They bring to our lives! Thank You!
