Dear Pre-K Families,

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  The boys and girls loved sharing stories of their feast and the foods that they ate.  Our class feast was delicious.  Thank you for sending in all of the special goodies!

Our classroom is coming alive with Christmas decorations now.  The entire class painted a huge Christmas tree.  Each child made a candy cane, an ornament, and a stocking to hang on our door.  We will also be making menorahs and dreidel people, as well as stockings and gingerbread men.  We have been speaking about the new month of December and the exciting holidays coming!  We are also speaking about the next season that is around the corner.  We have visitors in our room that move around at night!  We have “Sparkle” the Elf and Mosche the Mensch who will be making his appearance soon as well!  Each morning the children are so excited to find Sparkle.  She was found hanging upside down on our flag yesterday!  The boys and girls know they are being watched by the Elf!

Our trip to The Arbors is December 14th.  We are practicing our many holiday songs for this very special day.  Your children will really make a difference to the residents at this assisted living facility!  We will be making “jingle bell bracelets” and antlers to wear!  It is a day to look forward to!  The smiles on the faces of the residents are always priceless!

Westbury Fire Department will be visiting Red Robin on Wednesday, December 7th!!!

This is definitely a most exciting month for all of us here at Red Robin.  We will be having a holiday party.  More information will follow soon…

Enjoy your weekend!

Warmly,

Miss Lori and Miss Kristine
