A Letter from Red Robin Regarding Coronavirus & Summer Camp 2020
Dear Red Robin Country Day Camp Families,
Hoping this email finds your family and you healthy, and wishing you meaningful holidays if you are observing either Passover or Easter. These traditions remind us that life continues and that the items we cherish still exist, even as we make our way through this unprecedented episode. I wanted to thank you all for the many emails and good wishes we have received over the course of the past few weeks.
Along with you, we are closely monitoring the position of Governor Cuomo, as well as those of public health officials, in terms of New York State’s plans as they refer to summer camp. It appears that Governor Cuomo wishes to establish the safest possible environment, at which time he will reopen New York’s schools and economy simultaneously.
With many week to go until the official start of camp 2020, we will provide updates as we move forward. We continue to prepare for an incredible summer because Red Robin Country Day Camp’s 64th anniversary will be nothing less than outstanding for our campers. The summer will be the opportunity to return to celebrating and providing for our campers, the luckiest children on Long Island!!!!
It is critical, as we reach the apex, that we all continue to do our part now to cooperate with the social distancing mandate. The greater the compliance with maintaining interpersonal space, sanitizing and hand washing, the faster we will recover and be together again for our best summer yet!!!!!!
For those with concerns about camp, please rest assured that we are a family and that the trust you have placed in Red Robin Country Day Camp has been for good reason. We ask only that you continue to work together with us as a team. We will always do the right thing on your behalf.
Miss Sheryl, the entire Red Robin staff and I wish for you nothing but good health and safety!!!!!!
Yours truly,
Mr. Michael
